Five mobile racers that actually feel fast
There's a special disappointment in a racing game that looks great and controls like a wet noodle. I've played a lot of those. So this is a short list of mobile racers that get the feel right, whether you tilt or tap.
Top of my pile is Dust Line Rally, mostly for how heavy and alive the cars feel. Sliding through a rainy gravel corner and just barely saving it is the whole reason I play racing games at all.
For controls, look for games that offer both tilt and touch and let you tune the assists. The best ones don't punish you for using on-screen steering, and the difference between a good and bad racer is usually in how forgiving the braking feels.
Play a couple of stages before you judge any of them. A racer that feels stiff in the first minute often opens up once you learn where the grip is. Give it that chance before you uninstall.
