Iron Tide Command

Iron Tide Command asks you to defend a coastline while managing resources that never quite feel like enough. That squeeze is what makes it good. You're always trading off between building up defenses and pushing out to grab more ground.

The interface is clean for a strategy game on a small screen, which is no small thing. Selecting units and giving orders rarely felt fiddly. Matches are short enough to fit into a break but deep enough that a bad early decision haunts you.

It leans hard on planning, so if you like button-mashing this isn't for you. If you enjoy a slow squeeze of pressure and the relief of a defense that holds, it's a great pick.
