Dust Line Rally
Dust Line Rally gets the important thing right: the cars feel heavy and a little unruly, like they might get away from you in a corner. That tension is the whole point. Sliding a rally car through a wet gravel bend and catching it just in time is the best feeling in mobile racing right now.
There's a tilt option and a touch option, and honestly both are solid. I stuck with the on-screen controls and never felt cheated by them. The tracks change with weather, so a stage you memorized in the sun turns into something else entirely in the rain.
Progression is fair. You unlock cars and upgrades at a steady clip without hitting a wall that demands grinding. My only gripe is the menus, which are a bit cluttered, but once you're on a stage none of that matters.
What we liked
- Weighty, satisfying car handling
- Weather that changes how tracks play
- Fair progression without grind walls
