Hollow Vale Drifter

Hollow Vale Drifter is the game I put on when I want to slow down. You wander a hand-drawn valley, solving small environmental puzzles and piecing together what happened to the place. There's no combat, no timers, just curiosity pulling you forward.

The mood is the star. Every screen looks like a painting, and the sound design does a lot of quiet, careful work. I found myself stopping just to look around, which almost never happens in a mobile game.

If you need constant action you'll be bored. But as a wind-down game before bed, it's close to perfect, and it doesn't nag you to come back with notifications.
